CS2 music kits replace the in-game music for the main menu, round start and end, map objectives, the ten-second warning, and the death camera. They also add a unique MVP anthem that plays when you achieve the best performance in a round.
A StatTrak™ music kit tracks the number of rounds in which you earned the MVP award while the kit was equipped. The counter is displayed on the item itself. Most CS2 music kits are available in a StatTrak™ variant.
Most CS2 music kits can be traded with other players or listed on the Steam Community Market, though newly acquired items may carry a temporary Steam trade hold. A small number of kits are exclusive and are not available on the open market.
