CS2 stickers come in several qualities: Normal (standard paper stickers), Holo (holographic effect that shifts with viewing angle), Foil (metallic foil finish), Gold (rare metallic gold finish, typically reserved for tournament MVP stickers), Glitter (sparkly particle effect), and Lenticular (3D motion effect, newest quality type).
To apply a sticker in CS2, right-click on a weapon in your inventory and select 'Apply Sticker'. You can place up to 4 stickers on most weapons (5 on some). Stickers can be scraped to reveal different stages of wear, and fully removed, but removal destroys the sticker permanently.
Tournament stickers have historically been good long-term investments in CS:GO/CS2. Major tournament stickers from events like Katowice 2014 and Katowice 2015 are now worth thousands. However, newer tournament stickers are printed in much larger quantities, so returns are less guaranteed. Holo and Foil variants tend to appreciate more than Normal quality.
Holo stickers feature a holographic rainbow effect that shifts based on viewing angle, creating a dynamic, colorful appearance. Foil stickers have a metallic foil finish with a more subtle, unified color shift. Gold stickers are the rarest variant with a premium metallic gold finish. Generally, Holo and Gold variants are more valuable.
