The Mixing Table & Berries

All teas are brewed at a Mixing Table. Get one two ways:

  • Buy it for 175 scrap at the Bandit Camp food shop, or
  • Research the blueprint for 75 scrap, then craft it with 200 Metal Fragments + 100 Stone at a Workbench Level 1.

It has 500 HP and repairs with Stone + Metal Fragments. Teas are made entirely from berries: picking a bush gives a berry of that colour plus its seeds, which you can plant in planter boxes and clone like any crop. Berries grow in grassy/forested areas near where mushrooms and potatoes spawn. A big batch (up to 20) takes ~1.5 minutes to mix.

02

How Tiers Work

Every tea comes in three tiers -- Basic, Advanced, Pure -- each stronger and longer than the last. You climb the ladder by re-mixing:

  • 4 Basic teas of one type -> 1 Advanced tea
  • 4 Advanced teas -> 1 Pure tea

The golden rule: BERRY ORDER MATTERS. The Mixing Table only lights up the green "start mixing" button when the colour sequence in slots 1-4 matches a real recipe -- and you must fill all four slots with the pattern, not drop a stack in slot 1. Stacked ingredients are fine as long as the colour sequence is correct (so you can batch-craft up to 20 at once).

03

Gathering Teas

These are the farming multipliers -- all last ~30 minutes:

  • Wood Tea (Red, Blue, Red, Blue): +30% wood (Basic) -> +60% (Advanced) -> +100% (Pure).
  • Ore Tea (Yellow, Blue, Yellow, Blue): +20% -> +40% -> +60% ore yield.
  • Scrap Tea (Yellow, White, Yellow, White): +30% -> +60% -> +100% scrap -- BUT only on scrap from barrels, NOT from crates or recycling, which makes it far more situational than it looks.

A Pure Wood or Ore tea before a big farm run pays for itself many times over. Drink the gathering tea that matches what you're about to harvest.

04

Survival Teas

The combat/survival side:

  • Healing Tea (Red, Red, Red, Red): instant heal of +30 (Basic) / +45 (Advanced) / +60 (Pure) HP -- a cheap pocket heal.
  • Max Health Tea (Red, Red, Red, Yellow): raises your maximum health for ~20 minutes; the Pure tier adds a big +20 to your cap. Vital before a hard fight or raid.
  • Anti-Rad Tea (Red, Red, Green, Green): scales up radiation resistance for 30 minutes -- the higher the tier, the more rad damage it shrugs off. It does NOT cure radiation you've already taken, only resists new exposure. Clutch at Launch Site, where the rad bleeds through even a Hazmat Suit.

Rules & Tips

A few facts that catch people out:

  • Death wipes all buffs -- don't drink a Pure tea and then go do something risky on the way to the farm.
  • Same-type teas don't stack: drinking Advanced Max Health while Pure is active just keeps the strongest tier, so don't waste the lower one.
  • Every tea also grants an instant +30 hydration on drink -- handy in the desert.
  • The Mixing Table isn't only for tea: it also crafts Low Grade Fuel and Gun Powder (for ~33% less charcoal than hand-crafting), and Explosives WITHOUT an active Tier 3 Workbench -- a real edge for solos and small groups. See the Gunpowder, Ammo & Explosives guide.
